About Randi Kepecs

I am an Occupational Therapist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant who has devoted my career to practicing in paediatrics; working with a wide variety of vulnerable populations including those who have, or are at risk for, delays in their development.

I have always had a special interest in infant and child feeding, which grew exponentially after I gave birth to my first son; with whom I experienced many feeding challenges. It was my own successful experience with International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) that inspired me to add lactation support to my own practice, in order to help families meet their own unique feeding goals.

I received a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2007 and a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2010. In 2019, following the birth of my second son, I began the journey towards certifying as an IBCLC. I completed my clinical placement at The International Breastfeeding Centre (Newman Breastfeeding Clinic) where I obtained over 500 hours working with hundreds of breast/chest feeding families under the direct supervision of the amazing IBCLCs and Paediatricians. In 2021, I graduated from the Lactation Medicine program and passed the International Certification Exam in the spring of 2022.

I am registered in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and hold memberships with the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT) and Canadian Lactation Consultant Association (CLCA).

Throughout my career, I have completed many trainings, certifications, and additional continuing education opportunities to update my skills, knowledge, and expertise, and I utilize evidence-based best practices in my work.

I constantly strive to provide safe, inclusive, compassionate, and non-judgemental support in order to meet a family where they are at with their own unique goals. I’m looking forward to meeting and working with you and your family!
